A. Activities are planned to take place throughout the school year, primarily on Wednesday afternoons when many students are out of lessons, as well as during the school holidays, including October and May.

A. Venues are chosen to be as practical as possible, taking into account the demands placed upon family logistics. This means central Saint-Germain-En-Laye or nearby the Lycée International or one of the partner schools.

A. At this stage, they are only for British Section students, however, depending on demand this may be reviewed in due course.

A. No, all of our enrichment activities beyond the classroom are entirely optional and allow students to take part in activities that may be of personal interest as well as to manage their own time taking into account their classroom learning and studying outside the classroom.

A. No, there is no core curriculum learning involved in any of our enrichment activities and none are required for successful study towards the BFI.

A. In addition to all the usual benefits of enrichment activities, offering our students the chance to take part in activities that are conducted in English means that they have the chance to gain language confidence and competence in a range of informal settings with their fellow participants. This active participation extends their anglophone understanding and verbal reasoning beyond passive reading and listening.

This will be particularly relevant for students that have limited opportunities to practise their English language skills outside the classroom and will therefore equip those students for further study, post-BFI, in programmes delivered in the English.
