6ème / UK Year 7
6ème Class Details (anglophones)
Native-level English and French students attend a French Collège following the French national curriculum with six hours of lessons in British Section classes. We offer 2 classes in 6ème for anglophone students (see details below):
- Bilingual class
- French Immersion class for non-fluent French speakers

Eligibility
- Age: Candidates must normally be born in 2016 to enrol in this class (11 years old)
- Level of English: depends on individual Programmes - see below.

Application Fee
The non-refundable Application Fee is 250 €.
Registration Fee
The non-refundable Registration Fee is 1 500 € per child plus an advance on Tuition Fees of 500 € per child. The latter will be deducted from the Annual Tuition Fees invoice issued in September of the year of entry.
Annual Tuition Fees
- 4 427 € per annum (reduced rate, if family paying)
- 7 885 € per annum (standard rates, if employer paying)
Timeline
- November 24 2026 - January 8 2027: pay non-refundable admission fee of 250 €
- January 15 2027: last day to complete online application forms
- March 10 2027: mainstream and FS testing
- May / June 2027: decisions communicated / registration

There are two French immersion classes at the Collège International: a joint 6ème/5ème class and a joint 4ème/3ème class. There will not be any availability for bilingual students on this site.
French Immersion / Français Spécial
This is a specialised programme for students who do not yet speak French or who have limited knowledge of the language. The class is composed of 15-20 new students coming from all around the world. The British Section is assigned one to two places a year. Students work with a specialised French teacher from September to June to develop their knowledge of French while maintaining their native level of English with the British Section. By the end of the academic year, immersion students should have developed a high level of French proficiency which will then allow them to integrate into a regular French classroom the following year for the French curriculum.
